I've been looking so long at these pictures of you That I almost believe that they're real I've been living so long with my pictures of you That I almost believe that the pictures are all I can feel Remembering you standing quiet in the rain As I ran to your heart to be near And we kissed as the sky fell in, holding you close How I always held close in your fear Remembering you running soft through the night You were bigger, brighter, and whiter than snow Screamed at the make believe, screamed at the sky And you finally found all your courage to let it all go Remembering you fallen into my arms Crying for the death of your heart You were stone white, so delicate, lost in the cold You were always so lost in the dark Remembering you, how you used to be Slow drowned you were angels, so much more than everything Hold for the last time, then slip away quietly Open my eyes, but I never see anything If only I'd thought of the right words I could have held on to your heart If only I'd thought of the right words I wouldn't be breaking apart all my pictures of you Looking so long at these pictures of you And never hold on to your heart Looking so long for the words to be true And always just breaking apart, my pictures of you There was nothing in the world that I ever wanted more Than to feel you deep in my heart There was nothing in the world that I ever wanted more Than to never feel the breaking apart, my pictures of you

So beautiful, this angel you are
Eyes deep and lonely, gaze from afar
With strong hands and golden limbs you're made
Treasure from beyond the grave In a moment--just a second it took
Little tremble, with a warning that shook right through me
The moment, feeble, come and gone
Somewhere all those horses steady on All those lights are too bright
 Spinning in stardust glitter
And you hold on so tight
Tasting the sweet as bitter You're riding on that shooting star
I don't want to break your heart With a whisper and a reeling
 Skip the heart beating
Oh, the soaring and the roaring in your ears
Don't it make you feel just so alive
Seconds before you die All those lights are too bright
 Spinning in stardust glitter
And you hold on so tight
Up here the air is thinner
You're riding on that shooting star
I don't want to break your heart Oh, and it would be
only sweet and lovely
 Carry on the breeze
You only for me All those lights are too bright
 Spinning in stardust glitter
And you hold on so tight
Up here the air is thinner
You're riding on that shooting star
I don't want to break your heart

about

Dispatch from the Milky Way: Collider, a collaboration sculpted from floating space and sprinkled through with galactic sparkle, has taken shape. Dear friends Holly Long and The Hitmaker, stretching the space between Venice Beach and Chicago, stand together on the internet plane as Millennium Fields. After
previously releasing an emission of lush pop called "Stardust Glitter" in 2011, their forces have been directed once again toward the eye of the needle.
For 24 months, these two energy sources transmitted tracks back and forth, spinning wildly together in the virtual sandbox of internet music waves. And out of this two-year playdate, they launched a swirly electro-acoustic cotton candy dream EP dubbed Collider. As much a melding of visions as a collision of molecules.
The duo have crafted four new original tracks of psychedelia, and then--in a fit of stellar inspiration--landed on a sublime cover of the Cure's "Pictures of You." The set is rounded out with a remix of the opening track, "Trouble," and finally, to enhance the continuity of the astronomical unit, their debut, epic single, "Stardust Glltter" as a bonus.
Constellate your own energy toward www.millenniumfields.com, and enjoy the Big Bang of love which emits from this blueshifting sonic heaven.
The record was mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Marcos Sueiro, who has mastered all of the releases by The Hitmaker.

about

Millennium Fields Chicago, Illinois

An epic, lush, pop-rock collaboration between singer/songwriter Holly Long and The Hitmaker, Millennium Fields is the center of a Venn diagram where these artists can explore the magical, big sounds of anthemic pop and atmospheric music often mined by U2, Simple Minds, and Kate Bush.
Their debut single “Stardust Glitter” is a perfect example—evocative, mysterious, and uplifting.
